OK ... there's no "before" photo with this (although it was an 80's
brass shower and acrylic corner tub). We constructed this magnificent
walk-in shower above which features a custom pebble base, travertine
walls and pebble accents. The ceiling is a dark walnut with polyurethane
coating for moisture protection. We also refinished the vanities in
'special walnut' and installed a new granite top and sinks.
On the left photo you can see the two bodyshower systems in brushed
steel, and recesses for soap products etc. Love the octagonal window!
You'll like the semicircular concrete seat which has a granite top to
match the vanity, and matching pebble cladding. The fixed glass panel is
approx 4'W x 8'H and is 3/8" safety glass.
All I can say is ..... WOW !!!!

This master bathroom shower was slightly enlarged by opening up the wall
and raising the doorway to full ceiling height. We constructed a new
custom concrete base with 2x2 gray porcelain mosaic tiles. We installed
12"x24" rectified gray porcelain tiles with white mosaic glass accents
on the walls. A stunning bodyshower system was added, and finally we
installed a new 3/8" frameless glass enclosure. Matching gray porcelain
tiles were installed on the floor with a very light gray grout. |

We remodeled a master bathroom this month, bringing
it firmly from the 60’s into the 21st century! We removed the
tub and demolished everything back to the studs, including ‘stealing’
about 2 feet from an adjoining closet in the next room to give more
space. A large custom walk-in shower was constructed and the walls and
floor clad in Crema Marfil and Dark Emperador tile with
stone accents. Finally, a new custom vanity and built-in were installed.
Note we even had to move the toilet drain about 6’ to the other side of
the bathroom! Truly a stunning remodel of which the owners are very
proud! Thanks. G

We
just finished this gorgeous master bathroom remodel ... the old shower
and base were demolished and a new travertine shower with slate accents
and base was built with a new frameless enclosure. Matching travertine
was laid around the tub side and backsplashes. Vanities were refinished
with new granite tops. Note the new tub and vanity brushed nickel
faucets. New paint, lighting and mirrors brings this master bathroom
right up to date!

This 1980's shower and brass enclosure was rebuilt with a custom
concrete shower base and mosaic tile. The walls are 18x18 Tuscan Walnut
Travertine with bronze mosaic accents. Note the new mosaic tile laid
around the existing tub. A new 3/8" clear glass frameless shower
enclosure finishes this wonderful bathroom renovation.

Unbelievably, this 1980's master bathroom started out with a corner
shower and 2 white vanities as shown in left picture ... We gutted the
entire bathroom and created a double walk-in shower with fixed frameless
glass, and a black river pebble base and wall accents. The shower walls
are Travertine tile, as well as the new tub plinth and bathroom floor.
Note the two fabulous bodyshower systems !! (I
promise you this is the same camera angle before and after !! )

This modest guest bathroom was transformed with a stunning custom shower
featuring travertine, glass, bodyshower system and gorgeous frameless
enclosure. Note the seat in the shower tiled with 2x2 'Desert Sand'
mosaic tile, and the elegant diagonal tile pattern at the top. |

The old linen closet in the 'before' photo was demolished, along with
the vanity. Firstly we built a large 40" x 40" custom concrete base and
then tiled the walls (and bathroom floor) in travertine. Note the
stunning "pebble" tile base and accents. We installed an oil rubbed
bronze Delta shower faucet with large rainshower head. A custom 3/8"
frameless glass enclosure finishes the new shower. |

This unusual custom sunken tub from the 70's was cracked and leaking
badly (same bathroom as above). We demolished the entire structure and
filled in the floor with concrete. A new jet tub was installed into a
custom plinth. We tiled the enclosure with travertine tile and stone
accents. A new oil rubbed bronze tub faucet was added with separate
handshower. Gorgeous !! |
 |
Fantastic example of "builder-grade" standard bathroom on left from the
90's .... firstly we demolished the old shower completely and built a
new larger custom concrete base. The walls were tiled with 17x17
porcelain tile to match the existing floor, and we added glass tile
accents. The new base was tiled with 2x2 non-slip mosaic tiles along
with the new seat top. Note, we retained the existing tub, but updated
the hardware with a new brushed nickel heavy-duty faucet and separate
handshower, and new matching drain and overflow. We removed the old
white marble builder backsplashes and customized the look with matching
mosaic tiles from the shower. Finally, we replaced the old glass window
with stunning glass blocks, and installed a gorgeous 3/8" frameless
shower enclosure. The walls were stripped of the lovely wallpaper,
retextured and painted in a light cappuccino color.

The existing cultured marble tub was removed and the floor was then
tiled with 18x18 Tuscan Walnut travertine. We installed new 48"H
wainscoting around the tub and rest of bathroom. The new pedestal tub is
cast iron with exposed oil rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures and
'telephone handset' shower. Finally, we removed all the wallpaper and
finished the walls with a smooth "gallery finish" texture and light
cream color. |

Typical 1990's bathroom with brass framed shower stall ...... we
constructed a larger custom concrete shower base with mosaic tile, and
installed travertine tile with glass accents on the walls. A fabulous
body shower was incorporated with rain shower head
and hydro jet nozzles!! Lastly a custom 3/8" frameless glass enclosure
was added for a BEAUTIFUL finish. WOW !!

Guest powder room given a thoroughly modern makeover with new granite

backsplash completes this elegant vanity update. |

The original corner shower in this 70's home was full of rot and
termites! We demolished the entire bathroom and enlarged it, relocating
the vanity. We then constructed a new custom shower base and tiled with
18x18 travertine and 2x2 accent tiles for the base and upper accents. A
new clear glass bypass door was installed. A notable feature in this
picture is the stainless body shower which has 6 body jets, a rainshower
head and a separate flexible handshower. Pure luxury! |

|
This master bathroom was heavily reconstructed by moving walls/doors and
changing the configuration so we could add a 1/2 bath for guests. We had
to remove the old tub which was then replaced with a large walk-in
shower. Note the incredible body shower system and travertine/glass tile
design with a recess for shampoo/products. Pure Luxury! |

block window. The new vanity was stained with a 'special walnut' color
and a new granite top and sink added. A beautiful framed mirror and oil
rubbed bronze accessories complete this stunning reconstruction project! |

We rebuilt the shower in this 80's master bathroom, with travertine and
mosaic tile accents and a gorgeous frameless door (the stained glass
window is reflected in the shower glass). We replaced the shower faucet
and also the tub faucet with new oil rubbed bronze hardware. Note the
additional separate handspray in the tub! (However, the wallpaper and
carpet were NOT changed :) |
 |
|
The "before" photo shows the old shower which was falling apart and
rotten. The entire shower was demolished and the wall extended so we
could install a new 5' steel tub. New shower/tub hardware was installed
along with tiling the walls and bathroom floor. A new toilet and 36"
vanity completes this wonderful bathroom renovation. |

Ubiquitous marble half-sunken tub found in early 70's homes ... replaced
with a custom plinth housing a large Jacuzzi tub. We also installed a
new Roman faucet set in oil-rubbed bronze with a separate hand shower
and waterfall spout. The plinth features
2x2 mosaic tiles with glass tile accents and a "rope-edge" stone
border. |
|

This double vanity was refinished in "Bombay Mahogany" gloss stain with
a new granite surface. Gorgeous European vessel sinks were installed

a radio,LED lighting, iPod inputs and a remote control with
speakerphone! |

One of my favorite powder room makeovers ... vanity was refinished with
a new "Tiger" granite top and obscure glass vessel sink with stainless
single handle tall faucet. Travertine tile flooring and new
texture/paint make this a joy for your guests! |
 |
|
This was originally a small guest bathroom with a shower, and a coat
closet which opened from the hallway. We demolished the closet and
sealed off the door which gave us space to install a 6' jet-tub
including new plumbing, drainage and electrical. Custom hand-made tiling
was then installed with distressed glass mosaics and also a custom side
panel. |
|
This 1960's bathroom was demolished and remodeled to accommodate a
space-age steam-shower! A window was closed off and a light tube
installed for natural daylight. Two custom vanities were installed,
along with a new travertine tile floor.

Large bland 1970's jet-tub was removed and a
custom plinth built with delightful modern new jet tub installed - note
the gorgeous glass tile accents with 'pencil' stone rail edging.
Travertine 6x6 tile laid in a diagonal pattern as a backsplash, and 2x2
mosaic tile used for the upper and side tile, also with a stone chair
rail plinth edge. Fantastic brushed nickel Roman faucet set added with
separate handshower and diverter. |
